Why we do this.
Baronica Roberts, a proud native of Palatka, Florida, is a beacon of hope and support for the Central Florida communities and beyond. As the founder and director of Harbor of Hope International Inc., Baronica has dedicated her life to serving others and making a positive impact in the lives of those in need.
Armed with degrees in Criminal Justice and Education, Baronica embarked on a fulfilling career in the Orange County Public School System, where she spent many years teaching 1st, 2nd, and 10th-grade students. During her time teaching, her love for educating, reading, and assisting others stood out, making a lasting impact on both her students and colleagues.
Even after retirement, Baronica’s commitment to service has never wavered. As a certified life coach and financial coach, she provides invaluable guidance and support to individuals seeking to improve their lives and financial well-being. Currently, Baronica serves as a tutor and mentor for at-risk students, offering them the encouragement and resources they need to succeed academically and personally.
In addition to her mentoring role, Baronica is a staunch advocate for financial literacy, money management, and budgeting. She regularly conducts classes and workshops on these topics, empowering individuals with the knowledge and skills to achieve financial stability and independence.
Beyond her professional endeavors, Baronica is deeply involved in community outreach. For over 25 years, she has tirelessly served the homeless and families in need, providing them with essential support and assistance. Over the past five years, Baronica has further demonstrated her dedication to the community by hosting yearly back-to-school backpack and supply giveaways, as well as Christmas toy giveaways, all funded at her own expense.
Baronica’s unwavering dedication to serving others and improving communities is a testament to her compassionate spirit and selfless generosity. Through her tireless efforts with Harbor of Hope International Inc. and her numerous outreach initiatives, she continues to inspire and uplift those around her, leaving a legacy of kindness, compassion, and hope.

Re-ENTRY ASSISTANCE PROGRAM
We offer comprehensive support services, including job placement assistance, counseling, and access to community resources, to facilitate the successful reintegration of individuals impacted by the criminal justice system, encompassing education on criminal justice reform, legal aid clinic support, and pro-bono assistance.
EDUCATION PROGRAMS
Offering adult literacy and reading workshops, financial literacy and money management classes, at-risk student tutoring programs, and a summer reading initiative, our organization aims to empower individuals of all ages with essential skills and opportunities for personal and academic growth.
FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES
Our organization provides parenting classes and workshops, mentorship programs spanning education, career, and personal development, and facilitates support groups tailored to various family dynamics, offering emotional support, practical advice, and a sense of community.
